It came to my attention that many Native American girls and women go missing. I can’t imagine having a child or relative disappear. In response to my heartfelt concern for the victims, families, and tribes I chose to use my art as a platform to draw attention to this issue. Using my love of collage, I created a work of art that portrays a young Native American. She is a combination of ethnic facial traits and adornments from historic and contemporary people. The background references a variety of patterns and adornments. Art for Action!

Art pickup is available, but the timing may be different for each exhibition. In many cases it is also possible to arrange delivery to your home by the artist, or if you are not local to arrange for shipping to your home directly from the artist.
