This mixed-media collage began with familiar images that caught my eye. I worked intuitively, adding layers of color, texture and marks as the piece evolved. Some images remain recognizable while others are partially hidden or transformed. I enjoy the unexpected connections that happen when familiar things are taken out of context and seen from another point of view.
