Orion Above Joshua Tree (Raymundo Valdez)

In Orion Above Joshua Tree, I transform the familiar desert through my personal vision and signature diamond like fractal style. The Joshua Tree becomes a symbolic self portrait, reflecting my journey, resilience, and connection to place. The owl represents the mentors and loved ones who have guided me throughout my life. Faceted forms and shifting blues, pinks, and violets transform the landscape into a dreamlike reflection of memory, emotion, and the experiences that shape how I see the world.
