Agave Americana is a particular type of agave species that blooms only once and dies. The next generation will grow out from its roots and the seeds will be spread wide and far. Also, known as the "Century Plant" it actually blooms every 20 to 40 years. To think I can witness the bloom and my offspring can witness the next generational bloom, and the next… reminds me of a synergistic symphony between nature and humans.
