The series of images related to 'Aging' are captured by the features found in various trees that I encounter in my daily life. The skin (bark) of these trees tells a story of various stages I have experienced in aging and how they made me feel at the time.
The elm represents the planning stage where a person sets up goals
The palm shows how the original goals and plans are adapted and changed
The jacaranda represents the feeling of fiercely defending decisions made
The eucalyptus softens the hard edges and relaxes the tension of the everyday
The paperbark maple freely lives
