The clouds on this late summer afternoon brought not a storm but a gentle cooling shower. As the rain moved toward me and the temperature slid below 100, the clouds began glowing in the darkening sky. I watched until the light faded and then hurried home to begin painting "Bright Clouds, Dark Showers."
The frame is 3 inches wide with a darkened gold-leafed finish.
