A dried grapevine branch rises like a geologic remnant—part fragment, part specimen, part faulted record. In Archive of Deep Time, the sculpture reads as a trace of vanished water, sedimented memory, and duration beyond the human. Its twisting form suggests strata under pressure, the desert as archive, and wood as a vessel holding tectonic time, erosion, absence, and survival.
