paint people becoming more of themselves so they stop hiding.

I don’t believe we become someone else.

I think we spend much of our lives uncovering who we’ve been all along.

That’s what I’m painting.

Not a face.

Not a personality.

A way of being.

The moment someone begins living from that place, something changes. They don’t seem to need as much from the outside world because they’ve become more at home inside themselves.
