Smoke Trees provide a challenge - as the wind moves the branches - the forms change! Shapes appear to appear and disappear; colors appear and slide away into another shade or tint of color. The wind plays havoc with the shapes and colors, distance doesn’t remain the same some branches move close then wrap into the shadows. Smoke trees are a mind game…"I have the color…. Opps it’s a different shade…. A different tint, I hope the whole painting doesn’t go up in "Smoke!"
