Wire Bonsai 25

The tree sculpture is a windswept design. It is hand made with approximately 270 individual strands of brass colored aluminum wire. There is approximately 750 feet of wire of various gauges. Once the wire is cut to the desired length, the strands are gathered into a single bundle. The bundle of wire is then maticulously twisted to form the tree/roots. Foliage is created by curling and uncurling individual strands. The tree and roots are then secured to the rock which is secured to the wood base. Additional, smaller rocks are added to create a more intricate and visually interesting sculpture.
