This beautifully crafted baby cradle is a one of a kind piece of art.

The wood is walnut. Walnut is considered one of the most luxurious non exotic woods available

for home furniture. I found the cradle in a consignment shop in Roswell New Mexico,

and I had to paint it!

Using 10 colors and 300 hours to paint, my intention was to create happy shadowing patterns by choosing warm vibrant colors, and a cool yet calming pattern. A repurposed gem to spark a newborn’s imagination. This lovely piece is ready to start its resurgence with a new family,

and to be enjoyed for generations to come.
