Combining a former coffee pot with other found objects and ceramic shards create a new work of art. I enjoy celebrating the universality of tea and coffee drinking in many of my sculptures. Bringing pieces together in unexpected juxtaposition of color, shapes, patterns and images to create new objects. Rhythm and grace are found through unusual and playful uses of pieces found in my studio which evoke memories of the familiar as well as improbable realms of the mind.
