Born in Brooklyn, New York, Shelly Kraft has been creating art since childhood, finding his true artistic voice through abstract painting later in life. Before dedicating himself to art, he enjoyed successful careers in the fashion industry and on Wall Street, experiences that sharpened his eye for design, balance, and innovation. Today, his paintings celebrate spontaneity, resilience, and the transformative power of creativity.

He is driven by a fascination with the full spectrum of color, continually seeking every hue and unexpected combination to create movement, depth, and emotion. Following the loss of his daughter, Sammi, in 2012, painting became both a refuge and a source of healing. His work transforms grief into vibrant, abstract compositions that celebrate beauty, resilience, memory, and the enduring presence of love.
