This piece is a statement on the fragile nature of the earth and the risk of climate change (the storm, low water supply - stream) to the future of the young (the little girl). The train represents industrialization which has led to this problem and the clothing on the child (tie dye) is reminiscent of the time of baby boomers who were instrumental in causing climate issues.
