Beneath the surface of the Coachella Valley floor is an aquifer that totals 39-million-acre feet of pure water. The community accesses this treasure of the Earth to support farming and creating a lush landscape that delights, sustains, and entertains the people who live and visit this unique valley. Watercolors in earth-tones are used to delineate the shape of the aquifer and the surrounding desert. Key elements of the landscape are illustrated with shapes, lines, and hand-embroidery to define the local cities, wind turbines, a date orchard, the San Andres fault and the Whitewater River.

In many cases it is also possible to arrange delivery to your home by the artist, or if you are not local to arrange for shipping to your home directly from the artist.
