Inspired by the work of Richard Musgrave-Evans, I have created this oil painting using only a pallet knife. A pallet knife is a perfect way to utilize the broad sweeping strokes of thick buttery oils to show the intensity of heat over the landscape. The sky reflects the fractured intensity and colors of high heat. The landscape glows in response and is secondary to the intense sky. This is one of my interpretations reflecting the expectations of a warming earth and is perfect for the current EARTH prospectus. Enjoy! OriginaloilpaintingsbyDIANAJM
