As a resort town, Palm Springs and its beautifully diverse residents bid welcome and farewell to visitors from across the globe. “Farewell” depicts the movement of visitors to Palm Springs—visitors representing diverse races, ethnicities, abilities, ages, sexual orientations, and gender expressions—away from the valley. While the center of Palm Springs holds steady in the face of visitors’ departures, it is also forever changes by the human and humane gifts they brought.
