Residing in the desert year-round leaves a sizzling impression of the summer heat that lingers into the fall. Those long summer days and nights remind me that the heat we feel now will meld into a very temperate winter when the snowbirds return. Summer Blaze burns a mental image of the duration and intensity of the heat into the mind of the viewer. Even though Summer Blaze is a fiery reminder of the season, it also reminds me to be patient while waiting for nicer weather to return to our beautiful valley.
