Inspired by a tableau on a cabinet top at a friend's house of figures in clay and wood from the 19th century. I substituted a figure of my own (from the live model) in the right foreground with the light sabre. The figure in the painting is another figure I added that I drew then painted from the live model. Anachronism, fantasy and humor are often found in my art work
