PETITE URIEL involves weaving, incorporating beads, photos, fiber, and paper. A red halo surrounds this little character wearing a headdress who is named after an angel. Uriel’s color is red, symbolizing the root chakra. A pure feather rests above and the various moons reflect the heavenly presence.
The image is of a “prim” doll I created that has a clay face, assembled with twigs, lace, cloth, and ephemera. The paper background is painted with acrylic and pastels, and collage elements are included.
