Taxco, Mexico is known for its artistry and silver jewelry, also for its religious celebrations and architecture. The Mexican people are friendly and family oriented. The day that I captured this photograph I was walking down the cobble stone street and a funeral procession was coming toward me. You can tell by the size of the coffin that a young child had died. The entire family was in mourning. Women carried flowers and babies, while the men walked behind, The villagers hung out the balconies to watch the procession. It is a charming town.
