I make art with nails. Some hammered, others using a nail gun. This is the fifth piece in my Tribute Portrait in Nails series. It is made of 39,260 nails and took two months to create. I consider this a three dimensional art piece because changes in the lighting creates various shading from the nails and interesting effects on the piece. As with all of my artwork, this piece contains one single red nail.
