Weathered Strength is a digital capture and hand-printed image of a lone tree on a white beach on Harbour Island in the Bahamas that I have photographed many times. Even though the tree has been dead for some time, it remains a landmark on this beautiful small island in the Caribbean. My image is a detail of the tones in the trunk of the tree while catching the light and shadow-play of the afternoon.
