When taking my screen door in to be repaired, I saw a huge dumpster full of discarded screen. Asking permission, I went dumpster diving and found gorgeous weathered screens. Hearing the trash truck in the distance, I quickly filled up my entire car with what ever I could extract. What a treasure! I proceeded paint on it, make three dimensional work that responded differently to changing light, made pieces that were intended to be moved by the wind, and more. This screen is presented in it's time acquired patina and has not been painted. This piece is one of my favorite from this series.
