A tall, slender sculpture composed of copper tubing and strips of metal with a black coating. The copper tubing is filled with sand to maintain the curving shapes. The two intertwined, spiraling structures are reminiscent of a DNA double helix. Each strand of the helix is formed by a series of diagonal lines, creating a sense of movement and tension. The sculpture is mounted on a dark, rectangular base providing stability and contrast to the intricate, airy coils above.
