Rolled, pressed and fired red clay takes on the characteristics of wood, stones, glass mosaic tiles and corten steel. Wood balls placed within carefully cut circles present a juxtaposition of real wood and the impression of wood presented in the clay. A checkerboard of playful, multicolored glazes mimics a field of modern glass mosaic tiles.
