Purple rain (Pauline Keogh)

On those rare days when we desert dwellers get a nice rainy day, I grab my camera and try to capture its effect on our local scenery. Especially enticing to me are street reflections with dramatic skies as background. Having grown up in green and rainy Ireland, the desert contrast is delightful to me, but something stirs me to paint my adopted home when its streets are shiny with warm rain.
