This piece was inspired by the many times spent wandering in the lush oasis that is Andreas Canyon, a part of the Indian Canyons of Palm Springs, lands of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. Featuring stately, skirted palms, perennial Andreas Creek and its enticing pools, magnificent fan palms and rock formations, the area draws me and, indeed, all visitors to languor in its calm beauty.
