The Salton Sea once covered a large area of the Coachella Valley. As the waters receded and the hot desert winds blew, magnificent riches were revealed. Jewels, shells, fish bones and skeletons of pre-historic animals could be found by miners and archeologists. Treasures for the hardy people of the Coachella Valley.
Heavily textured canvas is painted and slashed, mended back together and then embellished with treasures.
