Nouveau ' Les Fauves' (JoanNaN)

Nouveau 'Les Fauves' means New 'Wild Beast'.

This is my contemporary interpretation of Fauvism and the avant-garde group of modern artists in the early twentieth century who ascribed " Power to Color ". They were initially ridiculed and called "Wild Beasts"= "Les Fauves". Their primary concern was to have the potential of color express and elicit emotions. Intense Complementary Colors - Blue, Magenta, Orange, Yellow, Purple, and Green were used in wild bold brush strokes.
