Times have been hard for all of us these days so I call this "Hope Springs".
I want to bring a sense of hope and joy into my art. I love using color and shape to evoke emotion and bring a sense of activity into the work. I am inspired by the juxtaposition of complementary colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel. The painted patterns are created on papers I make in the studio and then tear up for the collage pieces.
