"Sea Caves" is a 3-dimensional, all glass sculpture, depicting magnificent coral reefs held deeply on the ocean floor. The design reflects a "sea cave" in the oceanic atmosphere. The interior was painted with colors of green, yellow, and red, depicting live coral reefs that thrive on the sea floor. The outer portion forms a rock cave as a diver may discover. When light is reflected through it, the viewer may visualize the ebb and flow of rock and coral formations that depend on each other for life.
"Sea Caves" was produced with glass paint, three layers of COE96 glass, and fused in a kiln.
