The inspiration for my work comes from the roads I have traveled, exploring both urban and rural landscapes.It is the recurring themes of familiarity, cultural and historical context, and iconic representations of contemporary landscapes that I find most fascinating and inspiring.“Red Hot Trucking” was a moment of inspiration, capturing the late afternoon light on a prairie landscape in Idaho, as a semi-trailer crosses over an interstate bridge. This painting embodies our urge to hit the road and explore new surroundings, fulfilling our innate longing for diverse experiences.
