The inspiration for my work comes from the roads I have traveled, exploring both urban and rural landscapes.It is the recurring themes of familiarity, cultural and historical context, and iconic representations of contemporary landscapes that I find most fascinating and inspiring. The New Tait Apts” is particularly intriguing, blending typography with a humorous twist by juxtaposing the word “new” against a faded, worn apartment sign. This contrast invites viewers to reflect on themes of time, change, and perception. My goal is to convey a visual and emotional connection to place.
