Blue Canyon I is the first in my new Geometric Series. It was created by painting with enamel on 14 layers of glass - a different part of the image on each layer. Each layer was then "baked" in a kiln to burn on that part of the image.
When all the layers were complete, they were stacked in a kiln and fired one last time, at nearly 1500F for 3 days. This created a thick, solid glass panel that is 1.75" deep.
Blue Canyon I can be displayed as shown (vertical stripes) or rotated on its side (horizontal stripes)..

Art pickup is available, but the timing may be different for each exhibition. In many cases it is also possible to arrange delivery to your home by the artist, or if you are not local to arrange for shipping to your home directly from the artist.
