When the heat comes and the galleries close it's a great time to explore new materials and techniques. "Window of Opportunity" offered a chance to explore paper and cord weaving and a very minimal color palette. After completing the irregular woven border the center of the composition was embellished with combined pieces of lace that create a floral focal point.
