I made two paintings of Sylvester Stallone. The Rocky painting is based on a photograph from when he was young. I was taken in by the movie — the series of them. I thought he did a fantastic job. When Rocky came out, it scored as one of the top-grossing movies of all time and became one of Hollywood’s biggest-ever box office draws.
