Lucille Ball, revered for her perfect timing and flair for the outrageous, was the queen of television comedy for almost 25 years. She was a legendary contract player at RKO who eventually bought the studio with Desi Arnaz, her on- and off-screen husband, aka the Cuban band leader Ricky Ricardo in the I Love Lucy series. And for many years, she was a Palm Springs resident.
